Modern AAA games now strictly mandate an SSD (Solid State Drive) as part of their minimum system requirements. Installing newer games on a traditional mechanical HDD causes severe texture pop-in, audio desynchronization, and long loading screens.
⚡ Quick Check: Is My Drive an SSD or HDD?
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Click the Performance tab and select Disk 0.
- Look at the bottom right under Type: it will state SSD or HDD.
Checking Free Disk Space
